My Father-in-law works Monday through Saturday and often has to visit his own mother-in-law on Sundays. It is still common for women to be house wives here. I will say that my mother-in-law, as a housewife, cleans, cooks, and prepares much more than I ever would have imagined normal. She runs a tight schedule but does squeeze in some time during the week for leisure. I never see them both sit down together long enough to do something such as watch a movie. Father-in-law will watch one on occasion late at night, but I feel Mother-in-law feels too unproductive to sit still that long. She watches her fair share of Korean dramas during the day, but sometimes has it on 2x speed so that she can finish it faster.

母親は、韓国ドラマを日中見ることはあるが、なんと2倍の速度で早送りをしてみて時間を短縮しているのだ・・・
